The 3 Beep and Yellow Light Error on the PS3 is similar to the 3 Red Light (Red Ring of Death) for the Xbox 360. What has happened is that the motherboard has warped and there is no longer a solid connection with the CPU and/or GPU.

We service these consoles with a professional Re-Ball of the motherboard, laying down fresh solder and ensuring the connection is solid. Then we apply a layer of our special foam padding beneath the motherboard to help prevent future warping.

Consoles with physical damage can't be repaired.
